Paris, FR—Shortly after Trump’s unveiling a team of experts deemed the portrait “a complete fraud.” They were immediately suspicious of Donald Trump’s claim this was a portrait painted by Picasso himself. During a press conference, The Donald made several statements that raised questions about the painting’s authenticity. “Many years ago I commissioned Picasso to complete a self-portrait of myself. He did it, because the artists love me! They love me.”
The Curator of the Pablo Picasso Museum in Paris, Chuck “Mad Dog” Bender, said, “If he commissioned Picasso to complete a self-portrait it would be of Picasso, that’s what a self-portrait means. We studied this picture closely and, besides the obvious chronological ambiguity, it looks like someone with little-to-no Photoshop abilities just stuck Donald’s famous comb-over onto an existing Picasso self-portrait. Whereas the American flag in the painting is somewhat Picassoeaque, the tie is obviously Twitter.”
It has been verified that the image in the painting is Trump’s Twitter tie.
Trump responded angrily to allegations of a forgery. “Megyn Kelly is probably behind this attack! I’m not saying she is, but she probably is. Look, artists love me and women love me and Megyn Kelly doesn’t. Therefore, in my book, she’s not an artist or a woman. Oh, and buy my book, because that bitch isn’t in it.”
The Picasso Museum also released this statement, “Even the portrait itself has a DailyDiscord.com logo in a bottom corner. This blantant violation of existing copyright laws is astounding, even by Discord standards. The Picasso Foundation will be looking into this matter, as well as The Discord’s “shoe throwing” montage forgery. Full story here.
*The Picasso Museum later apologized and a offered a retraction for using the words “Discord” and “standards” in the same sentence.
